UPS has a program that allows account holders to ship some species of reptiles if they sign a waiver releasing UPS of all liability. Unfortunately, this program does not extend to any type of snake making shipping snakes via UPS a violation of their terms of service at the national level. Notice that your box was marked "Live Harmless Reptile" and not "Live Harmless Snake" …. sneaky sneakyOriginally Posted by rabernet

Technically, in order to comply with federal shipping regulations, the box should have been labeled with the quantity, species, and common name of it's contents.
FedEx is the only overnight door to door carrier that I know of that specifically has a program for shipping live non-venomous snakes.
