    new scales?

went to wiegh my BP today and her combined wieght with the item that i put her in to weigh her was over 100g. thats the limit of my dig scales. so i guess its time to get another scale. it really surprised me because last week she only wieghed 64g and the item only wieghs 13.8 g so that means she at least gained 20 g plus in 1 week. anyway, i am looking online and just wondering if any dig scale will do. i will get one that is at least 500g, or maybe i should go more. any thoughts?

I would get one that goes to at least 2000 grams. That way as your bp grows you will not have to keep buying scales.

I had a look at Wal-Mart the other day and found a pretty nice digital scale in the kitchen department for around $30.00 I think it was.

    Re: new scales?

I just looked real quick and found this on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=11814&rd=1 It looks almost identical to the one I have and really like. You, obviously, want one that does grams/kilograms; and has a tare function. The tare allows you to put you container on the scale, and cancel it out, so the only weight you see is what is in the container. I have a clear tub I use, and works well, 'cause I can read the scale right through the bottom of the tub.

    Re: new scales?

Check online at Harbor Freight. You can get the desired scale you are looking for at a great price. I'm in the shipping and receiving business and scales do not get any better than the ones there, plus you will not find a better scale at a better price. They have a great selection as well to suit your own desired needs. Happy hunting..

    Re: new scales?

I got a nice digi scale at walmart, for around $15. It goes beyond 5 pounds and should be all I ever need to weigh my BPs.

EDIT: I read the previous post by Forrest; Harbor Freight is indeed a great place to get stuff cheap. I never thought to mention them!
