Welcome to the forum Drew. I think we have another member from the UP but darned if I can remember who it is right now but it's another late night for me and the brain isn't working on all cylinders.

We live about an hour south of the bridge and plan on doing some family camping up on the UP this summer (if that rotten bleepity bleep car co-operatees that is LOL).

Haha, yea i noticed y'all were from Boyne earlier when talking about yer newest arrival. I too have same situation, Ive just rescued my first Royal. You've prolly read some of my post if not allready replied =) When yer up if you go out west for camping you gotta hit Grand Maraise. Bout and hour and half out roughly if not more. but the best beer in the U.P. =)

Why yes, I speak fluent Yoopanese!
I'm way up north of Houghton/Hancock in a town called Lake Linden. In the winter I like to put Floyd in his favorite hanging plant so he can look out the window at all the snow that so pushes the limits of my sanity. Ah, U.P. winters......or what I like to refer to as a seasonal endurance test, lol.
Don't know how much you get around, but my family and I are just about to open our second (sold the other one) restaurant up in Calumet around the end of the month. It's called Carmalita's-A Southwestern Grill......being a member of bp.net means if you ever wander up here you're entitled to a free margarita or three. The password is "Herping makes me thirsty". If you come in the winter out of sheer astonishment I will have to sit down and get goobered as well.

Geesh Mike saw "free booze for bp.net members" and got all excited....I think our summer camping trip destination is about to change LOL.

It isn't any nicer for us trolls below the bridge guys. Today is the first morning this week that we didn't wake up feeling like an icecream cone left on a hot sidewalk. What is it with Michigan! You're either freezing or sweating (neither of which is anymuch fun!)

Glad to see in the other thread that your new b.p. ate so well for you Bleu.
