A larger enclosure can definately stress out a small bp. If you go the large enclosure route, make sure you have both a warm side and cool side hide (which you should have anyway). I would recommend keeping more hides than that if possible. When I kept a small bp in a large enclosure, I did several things to limit stress. I had 4 hides (old small butter tubs), two water bowls, and crumbled newspaper to raise security. That worked great for me. The safer a small snake feels , the less stress they experience, and the better they will eat
