Movement
Makeeda just doesnt move around...ever!
I maybe see her slithering around once a week when I go to bed. shes perfectly healthy it seems she just doesnt do anything! She spends 24 hours a day in her hide. I made a PVC "tree" for her and never goes on it. Shes never bitten a human in her life. I read about everyones snakes on here and they all seem cool but makeeda never moves I would leave the house for 3 hours and come back and shes in the same exact position as when i left
Is it just her personality? or is she bored? or is she sick? I DONT KNOW!

Re: Movement
What are the temps in her cage and how do you measure them (digital?)?

Cause when push comes to shove you taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong wipe your hands shake it off

Re: Movement
They are generally not much climbers - terrestrial is their preferred habitat. And they ARE nocturnal - so unless you are awake all night there is a good chance you may not see much action.
Interested in your response to Tigerlily's question as well.

Re: Movement
You really won't see much if any movement during the daytime hours. Ours spends all day in either her warm or cool hide being a typical lazy snake. Well other than when she's getting hungry, then we will see lurking behaviour (just head peeking out of her hide) during earlier evening hours.
If there's an issue with temps posting them and how you measure them will allow the experienced owners here to help you make adjusts so your snake is comfortable and able to thermoregulate properly.

Re: Movement
the temps are 85 on the cool side and 95 in the basking side (digital)...I bought a bunch of stuff from daniel on here and made the tank a little more appealing to the eye...and I dont know why but I had just a PVC "Tree" and when i got the fake leaves i wrapped them all over it and when i put that in her tank for the first time 1 minute later she was all over that pvc tree just hanging out ....before I had a shoe box hide, newspaper substrate, a tupperware water dish, and the plain pvc tree....pretty boring huh?
but when I put in bendable branches, leaves, two log hides and reptile carpet she seems to be a little more active in there. and it looks a hell of a lot nicer too. thanks daniel!
i think she was just bored
