    astro turf's sheddings

after placing astro turf in my tank i am concerned about the amount of loose material that sheds off of the turf. are these or can these little flakes of turf grass be in anyway harmful to the snake?

    Re: astro turf's sheddings

Did you shake it out really good before you put it in there (to remove the loose stuff from around the edges)? You should wash it before you put it in too, a lot of the grass somes off when you wash it. I haven't had a problem with much loose stuff with my astroturf, really.
