i think a lot of it also has to do with how comfortable they are in their surroundings and also how old they are. youngers bps tend to be more shy so they hide more. if you haven't had your bp for very long they are still adjusting and may hide. one of my new females hasn't shown her pretty little face for me at all but she is very young and i have only had for a little over a week. on the other had i recently got a more mature female and she was out and about and not shy at all right from the start.
