Oh I SOOOOOOO hate ticks!!! Yucky Yucky Yucky!!! For those with weak stomachs do not read the rest of this post.

When I worked as a vet tech we had this dog come into the clinic covered in ticks, and when I say covered I mean covered all over. They were packed so tightly on the ear you couldn't really see any flesh. Euw! Dog was dipped and for the next several days whenever you would walk in front of his kennel you would step on ticks and they would pop like bubble wrap. Little spots of blood all over. I STILL have nightmares. Didn't feel clean for weeks. Oh it was horrible. Good news - dog made it but required a couple blood tranfusions. The little vampires sucked that poor little dog dry.
