I bought the same kind you are using in your photos. But so far I have only one up. I wanted to wait until I heard from you.

I have the probe right on the glass.
Do you tape it to the top of the newspapers?

So the second one shows you the ambient temperature in the air on the hot
side. So you are basically getting two temps for each side...inside the hide
and in the air on that side.

Is this correct? And you also get humidity readings on both sides which hopefully will be close to each other.
