Ibprofen is to keep u calm and relaxed(duno what ur Doc is doing)
Umm no, ibuprofen is a pain reliever/anti inflammatory. Darvocet and demerol are both pain killers. And the ibuprofen is most likely being given b/c darvocet and demerol are both rather weak pain killers, which IMO by themselves are pretty useless.
