Thanks for the link! That's a cool set of pics, but it would be a good idea not to use a tail as a lollipop. ew.

I don't know what it is with kids.. I've had several come up to me when I'm holding the burm or BCI at work, and they start chewing on it's tail! Crazy.

    Cool pics though..

    Salmonella Pops, anyone?

I think I'd have a little trouble falling asleep with a retic in bed with me!

but you have to admit that is one happy looking snake lol.
no but seriously the snake has a great girth and seems to be well established with people. and other than that nasty lolli pop pic the snake seems fine personally i think those pics are cool.

Angry Re: The Kid and The Retic....Contd

Everytime I see those pics, I think "oh no- bad thing waiting to happen". I realize that this animal may be thier pet, but it seems they take no precautions for safety, esp. with a small child like that. The snake could easily eat that kid! If I owned a snake like that- it sure as heck would not be sleeping with my kid, bathing with my kid....

They might not think that snake was so great if the mother was all alone with the kids at home and it got hungry and the littlest kid became its meal... there is no way they could save that kid in time.... in the end, they would probably kill the snake for eating the kid, when it would only be doing what it must at the time to feed itself.

Hate to be a party pooper here, but thats just irresponsiblity letting a snake and a kid that little together. Then the whole salmonilla thing.
