how big to they really get

i have a ball pyhton and am looking at getting a CB how big to they really get? are they nippy, do they like being handled?

males 6-8
females 7-9


keep in mind, those are averages, females can reach 10ft. their really docile, great feeding habits, great snakes. just make sure you get one from a breeder. petstores are ewwy. they may be nippy when young, but thats a possibility with all snakes. my boas are calmer than my old BPs ever were. as for liking to be handled, they seem to like it, although i dont know if you could call it that. i think snakes really just tolerate it. and if your wondering, common gender differences in boas besides the size from what i notice is my male seems to be more exploritive and curious while my female is kinda laid back and conservative. great snakes though, itd be a great addition to any serious herpers collection. i want more, lol, wont get more till i breed though, then i get a free one
