    Dual Monitors

So, i just got my second monitor in..hooked it up, and check this out:

My screen resolution is normally 1024x768, but with the second one hooked up it is 2048x768. I've got 2-17 inch monitors side by side...and i don't think i'll ever switch back...this view is WONDERFUL..you have no idea!!

so what will you use the second one for?

the only time i've seen the double set up was on some movie that dealt with computer hacking.

    Re: Dual Monitors

i am in to 3d Modeling, video editing, and web design. Having a program maximzed in one monitor and all the little windows open in another is a great help. Here's a screen shot of what i'm talking about:

I made sure i had a lot of activity going on when i took the screen shot...it looks confusing, but believe it or not, i know what's going on!

    Re: Dual Monitors

I will be going dual monitor myself, whenever I get some money scrapped together for that. I almost always have at least 5 or 6 things open when I'm at home, especially I'm working on pictures.

i got my monitor from e-bay from a company that sells used equipment. This monitor i got looked like it was in mint condition...not a single scratch on it. works wonderfully..
