I have to admit, I like the stones more than the BPs, they’re spectacular!

Thanks! I consider it a 'team effort'.
Without the ball python for contrast it is just another 2D mineral specimen photo.

Stones are iron-stained quartz I collect in my area.
While they look super unstable, quartz is pretty solid and many of the inclusions you see are below the polished surface.

Re: Snakes and Stones Pr. 2

Side Story: Many years ago I commissioned an artist in Ukraine to make me a snake-themed crown.

When I got the crown I took some photos with my snakes and sent them back to the artist.

It seems they are still using my photos after all these years, and they even animated one of them lololol:

I've seen the artist make other roughly similar snake crowns, but mine is the original (and the best).

Wow, that turned out AMAZING. But I think you forgot something. Where's the shots of YOU wearing it? Are you holding out on us?

Hahaha, someday I will show a photo, but not until I'm ready.
I don't think people in my snooty area would appreciate a python breeder in their midst.
I can only imagine the gasps and the number of monocles that would fall out due to their surprise...

Breeders Note: My two holdbacks I labeled HGW/Yellow Belly have shed (photo below).

The one on the left is more yellow. The one on the right is still pretty white.
Again the parents were: HGW/Lesser/Yellow Belly x Spider/Ivory (Super YB)

The one on the right refuses to eat and I have been force feeding.
The one on the left is voracious.

I'm still not certain that HGW/YB is the right label on these.
