    Mouth rot

Hi, I think my snake may have a mild case of mouth rot. I don't have the money right now because I just spent over $400 on a rescue that had an RI. What can I do to help until I get to the vet? Can I flush his mouth out gently with deluded providone iodine? Of course making sure it doesn't get into his breathing tube. Please give me advice on what's the best thing to do for now.

I would use Vetericyn over iodine as it's safe to ingest.
