    Agree with above post. He sounds very stressed from being in a new home- and often it's harder for an adult to settle in than a hatchling/neonate snake, because they were in their previous home a lot longer- change is difficult for most of us. He also sounds like he might be too cold if he's hugging the floor where the UTH is. Soaking- consider a stool check in the future. I'd also bet the breeder rarely handled him- so much for avoiding a nippy baby by getting a nippy adult with bigger teeth. Just figure he's a work in progress- be patient. And keep checking for mites.
