    Thank you for the kind words my friend. You’ve got a great group and well considered arrangements for each of your critters too, no doubt.

    I can definitely appreciate and understand wanting more. If I didn’t have various constraints I’d have a larger collection here, but I also enjoy having the ability to observe and learn each individual animal here pretty well. Also have to look at the long game of eventual holdbacks, litters/clutches that may live here for a year or two before finding forever homes, etc.

    Everyone has their boundaries and what constitutes too much is very subjective from person to person. But I will say that I’ve had greater appreciation for everything that I keep as the collection has grown. No ambitions of turning this into a business or anything, my career keeps me busy enough. But the enjoyment I get from raising these critters all my life makes me never want to not have babies growing up here.

    The only time it’s a bit excessive is if I do full substrate change for the entire room in a day. Which is definitely doable as I have for some time. Went about it more leisurely this summer, a couple cages/racks/wall at a time and it was more drawn out obviously, but also very relaxing and enjoyable.
