There's plenty of fools on TikTok, just saying. Just for openers, it's not a good idea because a snake may ingest some soapy water in the process, which will upset their GI tract.

The only time to use soap in a snake's bath is when treating for mites, and the you just need enough to break the surface tension so the mites can't float. Your snake doesn't need a bubble bath. Even when mine "poocasso" themselves I just wipe them with a damp soapy cloth and then rinse, I don't soak them.

Exactly right ^ ^ ^ To drown mites takes only a drop of mild dish soap in lots of water to break the surface tension & drown mites- not a "bubble bath".

If you find this shocking then I’d advise against the continued viewing of basically any other reptile related content on any other social media platform…

Yeah.... The only time I used dish soap with my snakes is after taking a mom off her eggs. I've thankfully never had mites in the home, but that would be the other reason. Like dish soap baths for fleas on kittens or opossums.
What I always like to do first tho is put them in the water before the soap in case they do want a drink. Then after a few minutes take them out just long enough to swirl in some dish soap and see a bit of sud before putting them back in.
As far as the 'nuff said...
I've seen plenty of male keepers tatted up, crazy hair and piercings as well and that's what a lot of people I've seen call stereotypical of snake owners. Two snake bite piercings and colored hair just feels normal.

Re: Bathing snakes in soapy water !!!??
Agreed, there are (estimated) just as much non-piercing with natural hair bad keepers and dyed hair with piercings bad keepers. The look of the person has nothing to do with the care they provide... There are plenty of people with dyed hair and piercings that take great care of the animals, and themselves as well seeing as that the piercings and hair make them happy. There will always be a few bad apples, so I really don't like that stereotype.
Be kind, and inspire others to be kind.
