I'll just add to the reassurances above. I had a bp with a minor respiratory infection. I took him to the vet. My vet advised me to get a larger heat mat. Mine was too small. It turns out that was enough. No injections needed. So, even if your boa has an infection, it may not need antibiotics. TLC may do the trick. Good luck.Originally Posted by nikkiwhiskers
