Don't panic- snakes come across plenty of mold in the wild- your snake is in shed, & it's not mold-related. I'm not saying leave mold in a snake's home when you see it- but the likelihood that it has just caused a problem is awfully slight, & in any event, it wouldn't cause what you're seeing now -which IS a shed cycle.
