Re: 2022 Boa Additions
Most recent pics of Gengar. He’s on track to be breeding size this season, fingers crossed. If not, or nothing happens, I’ll repair him next season. He’s currently on 30 gram rats, and should easily be on full sized smalls by Oct/Nov.

Next guy up to be introduced is Jinzo, a 2022 jungle male RR pastel het VPI poss het anery. Originally gotten as a normal, but with his mom being jungle, he's always looked poss jungle to me. As he matures, I'm more and more certain of it. Absolutely stunning boy, in both his dark and light phases. I love looking at him. He's part of a breeding group I got from Dustin Lindsey.
Some pics when I first got him:
A little while later when I had a parasite scare. Which may have just been they needed more food than Dominika's litter thrived on, as all issue dissipated when I upped prey size to larger than I normally offer.
Just an indoor shot to see how the aspen affected his colors.
Being sassy for no reason before a tub cleaning.
Middle of a shed cycle:
Post shed, once there was a warm day. So a few weeks after, not fresh shed or anything.
Blep
First pics at the new place:

Re: 2022 Boa Additions
Finally, another update on Aleister. He got a jumbo mouse this feeding, after a few days, really fired up. Still has a bit of a bulge. I’m not sure if I need a new thermostat, or new heat tape, but that entire rack stays colder than the other rack despite now being set 4 degrees higher.
I plan to pair him to Nymeria next breeding season, make some nice RC pastel Kahls. 🥹 And I better get albinos in that pairing because one of his parents is a visual albino, so he’s a guaranteed het.

Re: 2022 Boa Additions
Daemon all freshly shed, and decided to be very sassy during this photoshoot. Gave me a full body hiss and swat, then spent the rest of the photo shoot staring at me.
Also, turns out his dad proved out het Kahl! So he’s 50% het.

Thanks! It’s hard not to fall in love with boas, there are so many unique looks! Even the same morph can look vastly different, let alone normals. And their behavior is what hooked me the most initially, too. A lot of them are so aware, and you can actually watch the gears turn in their head and watch their eyes take everything in.
Definitely got projects to pursue and look forward to sharing them here. As my current females hit ~5, things should definitely spice up!

Re: 2022 Boa Additions
Jinzo's sister, Calcifer. Gotten as a jungle, she's het VPI and poss het anery. She's so bright and colorful, and usually sweet but can be a bit zoomy. When I first got her, she was pumpkin orange all over with a bright orange tail. As she's aged, she's been unusual in that she's actually getting grayer. 🤔
Pics from when I got her in 2022, during some warm spells.
Beginning of 2023, before our move.
Giving me some sass for some reason. 😆
When I first got her down here; she was one of many who decided to shed during the move. 🙄
Post shed:
The most recent pics on my laptop, and using a different camera since my Canon got ran over. 😢
