I'm so glad this is back. I got my bp from here in 2019 just before their pandemic shutdown. If anyone else is going, let me know. I'd love to meet up for lunch.

I wish I could I will be at the Midwest Reptile Show in Indianapolis, IN this weekend if anyone here is going. I'm hoping to start going to more bigger expos soon to get supplies and meet people, especially because at the rate the Midwest expo is growing it seems them upgrading to a bigger building a little while ago did nothing to thin out the crowd haha.

It's so true. Every reptile expo I know has had to move to larger venues in the last few years. Here in N. California the big shows are actually being held in San Franciso's Cow Palace, an indoor arena with a capacity of something like 14,000. The first expos I went to, back when dinosaurs walked the earth, were held in small community centers and maybe had a thousand attendees over the course of the weekend.

I admin a few FB snake groups. One that is specifically dedicated to new Ball python keepers is steadily getting over 300 new members a week - and that's just one little group on one social media platform. It's been insane.

Reminder: New york metro reptile expo

Just a reminder that the NY Metro Reptile Expo is in White Plains on Sunday (4/23/23). I plan to be there all day. Last time I went, I bought a snake in the first 10 minutes, so I had to rush home. This time, I plan to hang around and take it all in.

Is there a mailing list for these shows and how often do they happen? I may actually cross a bridge.
DOH! Saw the link, got it.
