I realized that Cisco and I had a brief discussion about his set up recently in this thread (https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...t-my-enclosure). Most relevant to this discussion: his enclosure is made of melamine, RHPs are not available where he lives, and the ambient in the room is 64F.
