Re: Questions about heating a PVC enclosure

I know Animal Plastic will install thePro Heats RHP, but does anyone know if they will come with the appropriate holes pre-drilled for it?
    (And yes, I meant thermostat!)

If that were me, I'd inquire from Animal Plastics or whoever I was considering buying from. Especially because a company may have done things in the past that they no longer do- I'd rather be "safe than sorry". Searching their websites under FAQ may also give you the answer quickly.

The screws for an RHP don't need to be predrilled, and the cord (if the unit is sent with the plug unattached, which all of mine were) can be fed through one of the back vents.

But yes, check with the manufacturers for current information on any and all products.

I don't want to hi-jack this thread, but according to AP's web site currently, they will only install a pro heat RHP. But a good old fashioned phone call to a human should answer all questions. It looks to me that an RHP would be my personal choice for heating.
