    The thing about tests given by the military is that higher scores will give you more options about what training you can enlist for. The military wants to make sure you succeed at their jobs, so test scores are used to predict that & help guide you into jobs where you'll be successful. That's not the same thing as being "happy" with your job, they just need you to be able to do it.
