Watch: Texas woman stores hundreds of 'cold-stunned' bats in her attic

For a very good cause, I might add:

"More than a thousand 'cold-stunned' bats were rescued by the Houston Humane Society in Texas, after falling off bridges in frigid weather."

I don't know about you, but I was very relieved to learn that at least this wasn't a case of animal hoarding-

You never know. They are pretty cute. Plus they eat insects, we could use more of them around here. And there's probably at least one culture that makes bat soup or something?

I think it's pretty cool that this gal works for the Humane Society (as Wildlife Director, no less!)- not all such workers think much about "other species"- much less have the time & energy to do something about it.
