    Re: Median Clutch Size

While my results are a smaller sample set, as I only do about 4 clutches a year, I have seen the average to be between 5 and 8 eggs. I've been breeding since 2012. That said, I have had females lay a first clutch of 10 eggs. I have seen a proven female lay 5 eggs. When I am pairing and trying to estimate my future space needs, I typically anticipate 7 to 8 eggs from each female, and that seems to work out on average.
