    Re: Temperature question

There is one small spot on all the tubs where I guess it sits against the heat panel tighter than the rest of the tub and my temp gun is registering 4-6 degrees warmer. ~95-96 on the top tubs, 93-94 on the tubs where the probe is taped. The spot in every tub is maybe a square inch big.

Is this going to cause an issue or is it fine given that its such a small spot? The only fix I can see would be setting up 2-3 more thermostat probes on the same rack so there's only 1 level between the probe.
What type of rack do you have? Is it homemade or did you purchase it from a manufacturer? If so, which manufacturer? I doubt a one inch spot at 96 degrees will harm your ball pythons, but maybe there is another way to fix the hot spot.
