It takes maturity & honesty (to self & others) to admit that you're not the right owner for an animal- at least not right now, though maybe someday you'll be in a position to give proper care to a snake. So thank you for doing the right thing for this snake. Just one more thing though- he needs someone with experience, not just the first person with their hand out that's looking for entertainment, so please be sure to ask enough questions to determine that his new owner can provide for him- proper food, housing & medical care. I have a feeling that someday you'll make a very good snake owner- it's just not the right time.
