Re: Spot on head
It looks like damage from trying to push its way out of its enclosure to me. Before I upgraded his enclosure, my bp would injure himself repeatedly in that same spot.

Re: Spot on head
There are 2 heating pads and the lamp as you can see on the top I have sensors on all hides and I anticipated
Some heating issues because of the height and the humidity I think I got the humidity down ok I am keeping an eye on that daily

Covering the top not only helps keep in heat and humidity, it will also make your bp feel more secure. So, even if your temperature and humidity readings check out, I still try covering that top. I'd cover those clear sides as well.

I see that and you've got three hides, so I don't think you need to add furnishing. I'd just try covering the top with aluminum foil and the sides with foam board and see if that helps. If it doesn't, you can remove them.

Re: Spot on head
There’s more on the other side that not in the photo and I’m concerned about putting the aluminum on because my roommate tends to turn off the ac to conserve energy and when I came home the house was about 86 degrees

You know your situation better than I do. My suggestions are just suggestions. I offer them in the hope that they will help.
