Any time a snake weighs significantly more than expected for their stated age, I would personally wonder if it's actually older than I was told. Snakes can only grow so fast, because their digestion takes time.I'm not saying that's the case with yours, just saying that in general. Some snakes get off to a really slow start, but a seller might not want to tell a buyer that, & at this age, gender is not likely to account for a big difference in growth. But keep in mind that I do NOT raise BPs so I relate less to what their "normal weights" might be, so let's see what others think.
