    You never know, some snakes stay really hyper & snappy, but if you're patient & considerate, many do calm down despite their dreadful reputations- I hope yours does too- it makes handling more pleasant for all, & I believe that when snakes aren't so stressed they stay healthier too. I've known plenty of snakes that didn't live up to their bad reputations at all, so always keep an open mind, & try to understand where the snake is coming from.
