The employee was just following company policy, with eyes in the sky, she just wants to keep their job. You also purchased a “pet rats” and decided to feed them, so they each got boxed up as pets do… price reflects that.
My local rat guys sells small rats for $2.50… and sells the same rats for $20 on Craigslist as pets.
