    Consider carefully lifting each egg up and out of the tub and insert a light diffuser onto and in the tub. So as the eggs are not in the direct contact with the perlite. That will help keep the eggs off the substrate and have more heat and tub oxygen to the bottom of each individual egg. You may want to redo the water to perlite concentration also. Maybe just squeeze out the existing water in the perlite as it is.
