    Thanks for the kind words.

    Daski, he ate an XL rat today without a lump. I typically feed him monthly, but as you can see he's pretty lean and he actually was striking the glass the last two days so I knew he was ready for a feed.



    I have fed him jumbo rats on two occasions and those were a challenge for him somewhat. I don't like the fat content of captive bred rat prey, so I prefer rabbits of equal size when I offer something bigger.

    Sniper is close to 7 feet. Maybe under or just over, I haven't measured in ages. He's probably 9-10 pounds.



    This XL rat was gone in an instant.


    I am privileged to own this animal. He's beautiful and very predictable. Boas really are a fantastic option if you want an impressive snake but not a complete giant.

    I'm hoping for another 20 years with Sniper.
