Hi everyone,
Sorry I've not been around much, been so busy with work and I've also been busy doing gardening shows for the garden centre I work at in the UK, we have 39 centres in the group so was an honour to be asked to help out again, I'm doing Hampton Court and taton Park in July, all put on by the Royal horticultural society in the uk(rhs)
Three staff took 3days to build this small garden at BBC Gardners world live situated smack bang in the middle of the country in a town called Birmingham luckily only 50miles from my house, the other two was from centres 150miles away so had to stay over.
Our garden was only 3 x 4 m and was designed to show that you don't need a huge garden to attract wildlife and pollinating insects to your garden.
One of the girls Anna who normally does the show with us made the mosaic path, she's already started a big garden project at Hampton Court so was unable to help with this show it's gonna take 3 weeks to do that one, I'm going to do the fryers rose stand inside the floral marquee next week down there
We won best garden in the plant village and was extremely pleased with our team effort
The last photo is a couple of the rhs judges present staff who was manning the sales area with the award, shame the three people who built it wasn't in it but all good pr for or garden centre group (Bluediamond)
