    I agree with what's been said, with one potential caveat.

    IF she's eating like clockwork, then don't read on . Stick with mediums and all is well with the world and your girl.

    However, is she skips meals, as my Shayna did, you might want to try smaller meals a little more often. Shayna is now about 1.9kg, but at about 1.7-1.8kg, when she was an adult, she often skipped meals and fasted all winter.

    I went to small rats every two weeks and she eats regularly and no longer refuses unless in shed. She actually gained weight on the small rats. To each his/her own, but for those with BP's who skip a lot, smaller meals more frequently can work better.

    She does fast most winters, but not for as long.
