It's definitely a snake conspiracy!(joking!) More like a silly coincidence- or maybe in the past your new snakes took much of your attention & you just missed some of the signs that your "regulars" were ready to eat, until it was too late? I've added plenty of snakes to my house over the years, & I've never observed any such phenomenon.
