Fast forward to an hour ago. I went to check on her and found her passed away. I am devastated. I can't stop blaming myself and I feel horrible. These snakes live for years and I couldn't even give her 6 months. I feel so absolutely horrible. I wasn't expecting this outcome. Especially from all the positive things that were said about her health. I'm sorry I couldn't help her🥺
Honestly, JJpeep, I was so stunned when I read this post of yours earlier today that I felt it in the pit of MY stomach- really sad disbelief- I didn't expect this outcome at all either. You & your vet both tried to help her- & you both did the best you could- sometimes, for reasons we cannot understand, it's just not enough.

May your sweet little snake rest in peace, & I hope that in time, you find comfort too. All your other snakes still need you.
