So I noticed these black spots at the base of my ball pythons tail. I’ve only had her a year and have never encountered mites or scale rot so I don’t know if that’s what I’m looking at. I don’t believe it’s mites because none have fallen on my hand and when I rub these spots nothing comes off. I just noticed this right after her shed and I let her soak in some water. Her bedding is fine coconut fiber/husk and I think it could be that under her scales but thought I’d ask just incase. She’s also a mostly white Super Mojave so I know it’s not markings. Would appreciate any input/guesses/advice
