You made the right decision, I'd say- you can still visit them, & they're also going to further the education that Center can do. I know it's hard to give up an animal, but we can't always know where the future will take us, no matter how well we plan. Please don't feel like you failed them, because you did no such thing. Taking care of pets means taking care of our own health too, always.
