    I have tried twice with baby rats (20grams) in the past. He recognised them as food instantly and struck at them but after coiling he just let go, sniffed the rat up and down and decided it wasn't to his liking. Weird. Why would he strike but not eat it afterwards? Since then I kept to mice because he's still young enough.
    So you think he might take it better when he's super hungry?

    And lol yeah, that would be fat xD. He has grown so fast over the last 3 month. I got him at 100grams and now he weighs a little over 200. And it shows. He's gotten thick
