Major "oops"! I haven't a clue what temperatures are required (or desired) for a CWD- ?Hard to answer, how about giving us a clue? But in general, I'd say NO to keeping this outside - way too much variation (heat & cold temperature extremes) & there's no insulation. Other risks outside too- invasive ants for one thing. (I'm a former Californian.)
But if it fits in your front door, why not keep it in the main part of the house? I sure don't hide all my snakes in other rooms- anyone coming in can "like it or lump it"- it's your house, you should enjoy what's in it, & wherever you want it- eh? I just don't think outside is a safe or workable option, nor in a garage.
