Sometimes you can get better deals at shows/expos, but I have never been to one called that. Usually the best selection is the first day, the best deals are on the last day from what didn't sell so breeders don't have to take as much back home.
If it's been a while since you have been in the hobby, I strongly recommend window shopping on Morph Market to get yourself familiar with current prices and morphs so you know what is a good deal and what isn't.
Before going to a show, make sure you already have an enclosure(s) set up and ready to go if you plan on buying anything so it's easier for your BP(s) to settle in.
