    I guess it could be, but it hasn't ever happened before. He snuggles into the corner of his cave hide, and the cypress mulch is thinner and when he was shedding he kept circling, so that's why I thought it may have been b/c he was rough and rowdy.

    So probably nothing to worry with? We aren't going to handle him for the next few days, he gets a rat pup in the morning.

    Firstly, I want to be clear that I am not in any way a medical expert.

    There are several highly experienced members at this forum who can offer advice that may be more appropriate, and if they spot anything or have experienced something similar that may be of cornern, you can be confident someone will assist you the best way they can.

    But for me, I would just monitor it for now. If his temps are good and he's eating well, I would steer towards them being pressure marks from where he's been chilling. If them marks remain in the same place (do not shrink) and / or spread further around him, I'd want to check in with a reptile vet specialist, personally!
    I'll probably forget by the time you've read this...

    Thank you! I will watch it the next few days. Luckily, there is a good vet in the area I found from the link Ive seen some of the mods post.
