Wrinkles?

Just got my ball python abt a week ago and his skin is got started to get wrinkly today not sure if it’s going through shed soon or something else , and didn’t see him having grey blue eyes either.
don’t think it’s dehydration he’s been going in the water dish at night.

It’s definitely dehydration. Try wetting the substrate a bit more but not dripping wet.

It's dehydration + going into shed. Going into shed shouldn't look like that if it's properly hydrated. Aside from making sure you bump the humidity, you should probably check for mites just in case. Mites are a common cause for dehydration. Check the water dish for black specks that look like pepper.

That hide looks big. I would add damp moss to it. This will make it feel more secure and give some badly needed humidity.

A great way to give a snake extra water is feeding it wet rodents. However going into shed that's probably not going to work at the moment.

Do you have a water dish in there right now? Increasing humidity/increasing the water dish size should help with that. The snake also looks thin, how often are you feeding. DO NOT feed until after the shed cycle is complete. Both require moisture and having both at once could be dangerous.

I agree- this snake is thin (underfed) & you've only had him a week so obviously that's not your doing. His dehydration & being underweight may make this a very challenging shed- I hope I'm wrong. Be sure to check for mites ("tiny black specks" on the snake or in the water bowl) as they cause dehydration (from blood loss) & can even kill a snake (from shock & organ failure), & they sure don't help the shed process either.
