Your sarcasm and snarky tone is a great quality as a mod... Just FYI.
I suppose you could have included a more complete application of your suggestion from the start. With your first suggestion you could kill someone's animal without a little warning.
Trying to be forum friendly and not cause harm to any animal I simply brought up a problem with some coolers. That was all. I get the reasoning for your suggestion but felt it was half baked. Like it was pointed out recently we have some young and inexperienced keepers that may blindly follow given suggestions.

And the same is true of traveling in hot weather with a snake in a plastic UN-insulated container- it's asking for trouble IMO, just saying. This is a forum, not a "contest"- more than one suggestion can be helpful. And there are no guarantees that everything someone needs to know will be in one post- that's why we have entire threads full of advice- to read the whole thing.

Well it's too late now, But for reference..
When the Ac goes out but you still have electric, you could get one of these
https://www.lowes.com/pd/GE-7000-BTU...ner/5000143963
You can still keep your snake room / or a room cool, for pets and people.
With the price of some hotel rooms for a few days, it could be worth the purchase, depending on your need.

Here are a few pictures of our setup: not optimal, but what we had at the time.
The one thing I'm slightly worried about is that there was quite a swing in humidity in his tub during the trip: he knocked his water dish over one night and sat in a soggy towel for hours. He seems just fine overall but I'm always nervous about the possibility of a RI.
Don't worry about that humidity swing. It will be fine.
Glad everything worked out.

I wouldn't worry about that wet towel- "humidity" episode either. Glad all is well again now.
