Re: !boa bonanza!
Read, learn, put into practice, repeat. Great content here that is indispensable to any current or prospective keeper of true red tails or boas in general. My good buddy Gio shared this information with me when I got my Suriname three years ago and I refer back to it often. No such thing as having too much quality information available to you when you need it. Everyone go ahead and bookmark these links for your current and future reference.
Prost!

Re: !boa bonanza!
My Suri is 8 this year I believe and just barely 7'. I'm only 5'2" myself but he's easy to handle and not too large at all. Hit 70 degrees last weekend so I brought him outside.

!boa bonanza!
Leonard hunting stealthily from his sky hide the other night. Love seeing new behaviors with the new enclosure amenities.

I need to get some of those sky hides going on in my cages, I love this idea and how cool they look hanging from them!

They're super fun! I got the mounting brackets from Reptile Basics for the large size hide and Specialty Enclosure Designs 3D prints brackets for the small and medium hides. I originally got the idea from Reinz on here and he uses mirror mounts from Lowe's/Home Depot. I've got a really simple idea for fabricating my own brackets for the XL hides out of pvc trim from the hardware store as well. I'll update whenever I get around to making those when the critters get large enough to need them.
