    Heh, the pictures above aren't as fancy as you think. They came courtesy of a phone camera, an Ikea chair, and some fortuitously good kitchen lighting (not to mention some very cooperative snakes). An actual camera is on the list for this year, though. Blurry phone camera photos of assorted wildlife through my binoculars isn't cutting it for me anymore. Time to up the photography game!

    Some UV lights can really wash out the colors of your snakes. The UV lights Adelita has in her cage make her look grey at times, and she's definitely not! If you really want to replicate the color and intensity of natural sunlight in a photo box, you'll probably have to mix a couple of different lights together.
