But I suppose that's the catch 22. The benefits of getting to inspect so many animals in person that you'd normally only see static pictures of online would make the potential higher risk worth it.
You're correct. Expos have elements of both positive & negative. Getting to see & compare all the animals first-hand, & also getting to actually meet the breeders & ask questions is a real plus.

The downside is that undesirable things (mites & microbes) are easily shared too.
